Sayra is an ensemble member of The Collective, a theatre and film production company.  Our next play will be The Hurricane Party by David Thigpen.

As a member of the Actors Studio she is surrounded by inspired actors whose work challenges her in every way. A few of her mentors at the studio are Ellen Burstyn, Elizabeth Kemp, Estelle Parsons, Melissa Leo, Lee Grant, Al Pacino and Harvey Keitel.

A few Actors Studio projects include: OLD TIMES directed by Beau Gravitte, Ingrid in PEER GYNT workshop opposite Harvey Keitel as Peer, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE directed by Carlin Glenn, and TEA IN THE AFTERNOON a two person play reading opposite Ellen Burstyn.

She played Masha in THE SEAGULL, with Moscow Art Theatre's Alexander Marine directing. She spent some time studying with the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowki  and Thomas Richards at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, Pontedera Italy and Wroclaw Poland. She sang ancient traditional songs and trained physically with them. Her downtown theatre credits are with folks such as: Ronit Muszkatblit, Mac Wellman, Jim                                                                                 Simpson, Polly Draper, Len Jenkin and Jay Schieb.
